Role 3: Squiggly, the Modern Pig of the 20th Century (1900s).

Hi, you are Squiggly. Squiggly will research types of housing in the 1900s, looking for something the wolf can't blow down. You have a budget of $100,000 to build your modern house on the prairie. You'll research traditional bulding methods such as wood frame, and also new methods such as steel framing and concrete siding. In which style can you build the most square footage for the money? Which will be the strongest? Compare the pros and cons of the various methods of buildings. Contact builders in your area and find out the cost per square foot for a traditional "stick built" house. Now rewrite the Three Little Pigs as it might turn out with the house you have chosen to build.
